Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed on Urban Chur (urbanchur.co.nz). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Urban Chur is a streetwear brand creating bold, original designs printed on quality clothing. Every piece is made to order, just for you, and delivered across New Zealand.

2. Our products

• Every product is printed on demand, which means it’s made for you after you order.
• We try to show colours and designs as accurately as possible. Screens differ, so printed colours may look slightly different. Small variations in print position (within about 2–3 cm) are normal and are not counted as a fault.
• Sizes can vary slightly between products. Please check the size guide before ordering.

3. Placing an order

• When you order, you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. Our contract with you starts once your order is accepted and sent to production.
• We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, there’s a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, you’ll get a full refund to your original payment method.
• Please check your name, address and product details carefully before paying.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable.
• Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
• If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price, we’ll contact you before processing the order. You can then confirm the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Production and delivery

• Production time: usually 2–5 working days.
• Delivery time: usually 3-7 working days after dispatch.
• We currently only deliver within New Zealand.
• Delivery times are estimates. We’re not responsible for courier delays or events outside our control, but we’ll always help you track your parcel.
• You’ll receive tracking details by email once your order ships.

6. Incorrect address

If you enter an incorrect or incomplete address, we can’t be held responsible for failed delivery. If the parcel comes back to us, we can resend it, but you’ll need to pay the shipping again.

7. Cancelling an order

• You can cancel or change your order within 12 hours of placing it by emailing urbanchur@gmail.com.
• After that, your order may already be in production and can’t be cancelled.

8. Faulty, damaged or wrong items: replacement and refund

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, with the wrong design printed, or as the wrong item:

• Contact us at urbanchur@gmail.com as soon as possible, ideally within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos.
• You can choose one of these options:
  • Free replacement of the same item, with shipping covered by us.
  • Full refund of the item and any shipping you paid for it, to your original payment method only.
• You can have a replacement or a refund, not both. If you choose a refund, no replacement will be sent.
• We can’t refund to a different card or bank account, or as store credit.
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days after approval.
• You usually won’t need to return the item. If we do need it back, we’ll cover the return postage.

9. What isn’t covered

We can’t offer a refund or replacement for:

• A change of mind, or the wrong size or colour chosen by you
• Damage caused by not following the care instructions (for example ironing directly on the print, tumble drying on high heat or using bleach)
• Normal wear and tear
• Small colour or print-position differences as described in Section 2

10. Designs and intellectual property

All designs, images, logos and text on our website belong to Urban Chur unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission.

11. Our liability

• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
• Where the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable.

12. Your privacy

We only use your personal information to process and deliver your order and to provide customer support, in line with the Privacy Act 2020. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
